6 BED RETORT HOUSE

The new 6 Bed retort House was built in the early 1920's capable of producing up to 30,000 cubic feet of coal gas per hour (maximum)

The photo was taken in 1962.We believe the new showroom was opened in this year.
The outside tiles to the walls were designed by J. Borsey Snr of Wades Pottery Factory.
